Linda ten Klooster, M.Sc.
About me
My name is Linda ten Klooster. At the moment I’m finishing up my thesis for the master Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente. Currently I’m 25 years old and I live in Enschede. In my free time I enjoy going to festivals, doing anything music related, walking in nature, and I’m always up for a nice puzzle. In April 2025 I will join the ORL as a PhD candidate under Dennis Janssen and Nico Verdonschot.
My research
My project is about using AI to accelerate the prediction of optimal implant alignment in TKA. I’ll be using the data from a previously developed musculoskeletal model from the UT that aims to predict the optimal implant position toward recreating the knee’s pre-diseased functional behaviour. As I’ll mostly be focussing on the AI-side of the research, I’ll spend most of my days at the university in Enschede in the group of Mathematics of Imaging & AI. However, once or twice a week I can be found at the ORL.
